Radiator size

Can anyone advise on the maximum hight and width, of a suitable radiator to suit book chassis, taking into account any slope.
The discussions have mentioned the core size, but I am not aware of any maximum sizes being given?

Thanks

Danny

I am using the CMC nosecone (US version). My chassis is book dimensions and it fit's perfectly. CMC told me that 20"x20" is the max size, and that is putting it at a steep angle, they didn'y say anything about thickness. The radiator I bough is 19" x 17.5" x 2.75". It barely fits, but it does fit.

Danny C,

I'm using a rad out of a Caterham, which fits nicely under the nose of my MK (which is within 1/2" of book dimensions in width).

However the rad was made by Covrad. www.covrad.co.uk

Part No. S7350 if that helps. About 340mm high and 450mm wide. Photos in my archive.

Cheers Mike
