NAME THE BEST CIRCUIT IN THE UK
Dont consider distance, entrance fee or nostalgic reasoning.
Just what have you personally driven in the UK and thought " wow what a ride" from the first minute to the last.
For me, its down to two.
Brands hatch indy and Cadwell Park. Both just egg me on every single time. They are just mental.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Knockhill, a circuit with real hills.
Then next day drive it all again the other way around.

Not so much fun in April though, reverse direction with Snow :-)

Sadly no longer in use for racing but it has to be Ingliston

Donnington, closely followed by Cadwell.
I haven't done either in a car yet, but plenty of times on the track bike.

Brands GP is probably my favorite.
I really enjoy Cadwell and Oulton aswell.
Brands Indy is boring as sin and overpriced compared to the other MSV tracks

I love Anglesey international layout. And oulton park is excellent. Never had the chance to drive cadwell park but that looks awesome!
For me Anglesey (on a nice day) is as good as it gets! Especially in a quick car. Church is a hell of a corner and one day I will take it flat but
as of yet my brain won't let me. And I have a little 'lift'

Oulton park gets my vote
I found Anglesey too short for my liking, although the scenery and location are awesome
And Donington the straights are too long for your average fast road car,you need something with silly top end grunt otherwise it's like go
karting, you sit on the straight wishing away your life for a corner to appear!

Did you do the full international layout at Anglesey? It's over 2 miles round that layout

Retrospectively, and only experienced from racing bikes, in preference order:
Cadwell short and full track, not changed and absolutely brilliant.
Snetterton, before it was neutered, now probably not as good.
Oulton Park, don't think it has changed much, apart from the obligatory chicane.
Mallory, full ok'ish. Short , boring, boring, boring.
Croft, some interesting cambers.
LLandow, rough as a Bears thingy, buckled a wheel rim.
And finally, not at all relevant to the discussion:
Darley Dale, one of the best Airfield circuits.
IOM, SCARY, SCARY, SCARY. I bottled it!

I have limited experience, but as follows:
Goodwood, really good track, old fashioned (in a good way)
Castle Combe, found it boring, not sure why.
Donnington, another excellent day, I found the straights helped give a brief breather.
Wild card, recently did Blyton, not a race track I know, but really enjoyed it as a place to hone skills and enjoy the car.

Another +1 for Brands hatch Indy and Cadwell Park.
The first time I did paddock hill bend I was so excited a little bit of wee came out.... lol !!
Cadwell I have done a couple of times with the L7 club and it's just bloody awesome too !

My current fave is Thruxton. What appears a simple track, it's a massive challenge. Closely followed by Silverstone GP, partly because of what
it is, but still massively enjoyable.

I do like Brands, as you down the hill the car try's to slide away then the suspension loads up.
Goodwood is pretty good, very fast so nice good for BEC's without long legs but very expensive he's me losing it at the BHMC Eagle sprint
in my DB7!
Good thing the grass is flat, followed the rules once it's out of control jam down brake and clutch then hold on.

Rumbles a bit now, hoping it's just flat spots on the tyres.

I think it's difficult to pick a favorite.. but I'll go for:
No1 spot Cadwell by a squeak!
Joint No2, Oulton, Donington, Anglesey, Knockhill
Joint No3, Croft, Rockingham, Snetterton 300, Mallory
Joint N04, Blyton, Teesside
Not driven Brands or Lydden
That's not to say I'd prefer to only do trackdays at Cadwell. They all have their own particular characteristics. Can't say
I've ever come away from a trackday having not enjoyed it. .. Perhaps Anglesey a few years back, where the sideways rain never let up all
day, having battered me in a tent the previous night!
