eBay project bought blind
Hi, I’m trying to indentify my purchase this week. It is being delivered to me in France in 10 days.
It has a 900zx engine fitted by fisher sports cars receipt dating over 4 years ago. I can’t find them on the internet
They used to do the fury?
Any comments on the photos helping to identify what pieces I have would be great help

It was being sold as an MK, built near Rotherham in South Yorkshire, but fitted with Westfield bodywork. It looks exactly like that to me.

Fury's website is down and has been for several weeks. I have contacted Steve and Jay but heard nothing back. They have Facebook presence which

Hello
Could this be an MK Locost chassis?
It looks to have De Dion rear suspension?
I do not recognise the front wishbones as being for the current MK Indy chassis design but possibly Mk Indy Locost chassis.
This does not appear to be a current Mk Indy chassis design.
At a guess it is a very early Mk Locost chassis.
But I would say it is most likely not an MK Indy Chassis from the pictures I have seen so far.

Thanks for the reply, and yes I think you are right about it being an my locost. For 1500 bucks I still think it should make a good track day toy.
There is a receipt from fisher for 1800 fir fitting the engine, and the proshift kit that is not yet fitted is 800. So I’m happy that it was good
value.
Just need a full cage as there is no roll bar at all, and a clubman one is not good enough in my opinion. The 750mc locost I had last year had
great
Cage.just need to find one to fit. It doesn’t help being in France but I’m sure my must be able to make one in knockdown form for me to weld up
here.?
I have welders and plasma cutters but no bending equipment, so if anyone knows of anyone with a cage for sale that I can modify to fit, I would be in
the market
And can have my transporter collect on his next trip.

Some MK Locost chasis use a de dion with Sioerra p[arts, so i'd say it is
Looks like theres been some mods /spacers for the front end added? but can't be sure

Looks like a good buy whatever!
The front lower wishbones look weak to me,can't remember seeing any using tubing that small.
There is a company over here that makes cages to your design and will send out in parts for you to weld up,called 'Tube Bender'

That was the tube size used i recall from my mates early MK.
Ignore my spacer comment. I see there are no lock nuts fitted on the top balljoint thread either side of the mounting threads

It looks a lot like mine - a MK locost chassis with de deon rear end, I think mine came with those front wishbones, the bottom front wishbone is said
to be a week design, I made new ones for mine to a different design. Mine came with shortened Sierra driveshafts - I think MK did those so the car
remained the same width as it was with a mk2 Escort rear axle, you have Sierra front hubs, mine has Cortina. I suspect MK used Cortina front hubs
until supplies dried up.
it should make a good car, I assume it has never been finished ?
Mk changed ownership recently, I don't know if the current owners will recognise anything except the Indy and the Indy R

Doesn't look like an MK Indy to me from the front lower wishbones and chassis tubes. Perhaps an MK Locost chassis?
MK Indy is also independent rear suspension, not De-Dion from what I know.
Built an Indy myself a few years ago so quite familiar with that particular car.

Looks exactly like my Indy, apart from the lower wishbones, although mine may have had stronger ones fitted.
Rear end is exactly the same de-dion setup.
I have an MK brochure that came with the car, which I presume was with it when built, and it shows the Indy s having the same front end wishbones as
yours. It does not show any pictures of the rear though. It also says " Major components such as diff, rear drive shaft, front uprights, braking
system, steering rack and column all come from the popular and easy to locate Ford sierra". Not so easy now of course
