Passing master cylinder, possible upgrade?

Hello guys, master cylinder has just started to pass back into the reservoir, as it was an old Sierra one I’m thinking of using a smaller bore size
Assuming this will give me a better pedal feel? Running escort front end with disk and rear drums, I’m currently looking at a triump dual circuit
With a 17.78mm bore, will this be suitable and what can I expect if I did want to upgrade the brakes in future to say 4 pots?
Thanks!

Or maybe a mk1 fiesta 19mm bore?

I replaced my Sierra one with the mk1 Fiesta non servo master cylinder.
Best thing I ever did! So much more feel in the brakes now, not like pushing on a solid block of wood!
Don't know how this would be affected by the upgrade though?

Hello! , do the mounting holes line up? I assume you needed to modify the pipework which isn’t a problem.

I did have to drill new holes they were about 15mm out!
Yes pipe work just needed bending to make good.
I also had to add a bleed nipple on the cylinder to blank off one port that was not needed.

erm no!

The same as a pipe fitting, before fitting it take to a motor factors and ask for a bleed nipple or a blanking plug for whichever one you want to delete.

Hello, got the master cylinder, I’m using a spacer instead of cutting up stuff, and also which outlets for front brakes does it matter?
