Annoying things about lifts

I work on the 4th floor and quite often need to go to the basement, Certain things about the use of the lift really wee me off.

for example:

1.)people who stand in the lift doorway chatting, holding the lift up for others who have things to do.

2.)people who get in a lift to go 1 floor - it really is quicker to walk

3.)people who get off one floor before you do. for the above reason its quicker to get out there and walk to the next floor as it's quicker than waiting for the lift doors to close, etc etc.

4.)people who get on, you press the button for their floor but they feel they need to press it aswell anyway.

5.)people who assume the lift only stops at their floor and sometimes get off at the first floor the lift stops at, get out, then realise and get back in the lift - muppets.

6.) people who get in the lift and don't know what floor they want to go to and ask you where such and such is.

It's not rocket science, why are people so bloody stupid?!

Rant over.

Ned.
