2 questions

1) my blade pump packed up.. I had a facet solid state Competition pump lying around (the small one) 6 to 7 psi 25 gallons per hours, the motor was a pig to start always flooding 1800cc per minute as opposed to honda's 900cc per minute so i have fitted a cheap pressure regular (petrol king) I have set it to allow 900cc per minute .... one of my mates is loaning me an in line pressure gauge to check pressure. what i would like to know is what is the normal road fuel pressure for a blade and if the pump is to powerfull have i restricted the pressure or just the flow rate.
2) does any-one have a drawing with the hole centres and overall holes sizes for a blade baffle plate and is 16 alloy sheet alright
many thanks
tony

Forget the Facet right now, it'll never work. Trust me, I've been there. Go and get another bike pump off ebay. If you want the whole sorry saga U2U me!

You'll get more on ebay for the facet than you'll pay for the bike item anyway.

Blade Fuel Pump

Anybody got experience around which bike fuel pumps will work OK on carb-fed blade?
My local breakers wanted £50 for a balde fuel pump - seems a little steep!

Cheers

Graham

Rule of thumb - anything carbed with similar power, so FZR1000, CBR1000, ZX9 etc should all be OK. Most of them use the same / similar pump anyway, a Mitsubishi one.
