Durham / Tees / Tyne area
Does anyone know of any events coming up in my neck of the woods / active local clubs woth joining?

I think the Westfield's meet each month at the Tees Barrage, but don't know the exact details. The NE7ER's meet on the last
Wednesday of the month at the Church Mouse (yes they of the MCOB thread). NE7ER's. They mostly sit in the
pub and talk, although the blats out are good fun.
Chris_R and I went to Blyth once to meet The North East Locost Car Club, who meet up at the Seahorse on the first Tuesday of every month. Again
largely pub based.
I also joined the North East Kit Car Club, based in Tynemouth, but haven't actually made it to a meeting yet.
Perhaps we should do something ourselves?
Chris_R, Snuggs and Jambojeef are all NE based.
As far as events are concerned, there is an NE7ER's Blat up to the Borders Borders Blat The
Return on the 13th August and Harrogate on the 13th and 14th.

Mine wont be finished till end of the year but im up for a regular ish meet.
I could do with some inspiration as well. Wiring is bugging me - i can do it but head gets tied in knots (im trying to add DD2 and immobiliser to
premier loom etc)

Why dont u come to one of the meets at Cleveland Kit Car Club www.clevelandkitcarclub.co.uk
2 meetings a month at Pathfinders, Maltby. (just off A19 near Ingleby Barwick)
Meets 2nd Mon and then 2 weeks after.
The Pub has large car park and puts snacks on for club.
On 2nd Mon we usally go for a trek out (normally ending up at another pub!)
We also go to weekend events, details at club.
Theres about 50ish cars in the club these include:- Mk's, Strikers, westies, Ginettas, robin udds, cobras, dax's and few oddballs
Come along EVERYONE WELCOME
PS Loads of Techs there to help with problems

Ive just had this reply from Mike Lawler of the Cleveland Kit car club when i enquired how to join.
"There will be a meeting held at A19 American Diner, all cars will be meeting firstly at Stewarts Park (Middlesbrough) between 7:15 and 7:30pm
on Monday 25th July and then driving on to the venue. It's a good way for people to see the cars and ask about the club whilst we wait for other
members to show."
Only £5 per year so sounds like a bargain.
Does anyone know of any clubs a touch more North? CKCC sounds like a well sorted club though so may take some beating. Are there any CKCC members in
my neck of the woods?
