MOT before SVA
I wanted to get an MOT before SVA. My local garage said that without a chassis number I can't get an MOT. I'm sure other people
haven't had this problem.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Get a chassis number 1st, from your local VRO or DVLA office

did you want the test or the certificate? if you arent bothered for the paperwork, and just want them to scrutinise the car, there is no reason for
them to need a chassis number.
Obviously with no chassis number or reg plate they cant issue a ticket cos there is no way to identify the car!

Ah I see. I thought you could only get issued with a chassis number after SVA, I am now enlightened.
