I really believe that when something sounds to good to be true it usually turns out not to be...
Only Western Union Transfer or eGold? I already know from an almost ridiculously stupid mistake on my part that WUT are the best way to fleece money
from people without any come back or insurance.
What's this eGold though? Did your friend use this service to pay?
I'm not saying I don't believe you (because I would love an R1 for £1900!!) but a little confused...
Plus it seems that the MSN messenger contact doesn't have MSN installed.
What bike did he buy and at what price?

He's gone back to the Phillipines (we work four weeks on and four off), but he said he paid the shipper directly. He was very anxious for a few
days until it was delivered.
He bought a CBR 600, not sure about the year or price.
I will see if I can contact him on his home e-mail.

Just seems a little odd to me...

The one thing I find really hard to believe is that someone can buy these bikes so cheaply from repo auctions, but then could quite easily sell them
at a price that a 'normal' dealer could?
Why make only a little money when you could so easily make a lot more?

Tried phoning a few times now and always get answer phone... Interesting point too Gav as it seems to be free to set it up resulting in a number that
looks professional enough but not actually costing a thing.
I'm sure this must be a hoax of some sort, but would still be very interested to hear from your mate Andy and the other guy that was ordering
one on his recommendation.

The prices look great, could always go down there and check it out next time im in london. I'm sure they couldnt object to collecting the bike

Try looking them up on Google. They are not registered on there unless you try the actual site address. Doesn't sound very promising.edit:- They
only advertise the bikes and don't actually have them in stock so it may be pot luck whether you get a genuine advertiser or not.

I got notice to say that my bike had arrived in the Philippines and customs wanted 40% import duty and 20% GST. Vine Banu said that they would
deliver the bike free with all customs duties paid. Customs confiscated the bike due to non payment of duty and I recieved my money back from World
Frieght Express.

Sounds like they did actually send the bike then. If you had it posted to withun the Uk you would have no problems with import taxes.

He say's it was delivered, but I think the lesson from this is that if it's too cheap to be true, then something just is not right.
