I think there is something called vinylcote which should work, but I have never tried it.

Woolies trim will send you a sample of Vinylkote. The blurb nowadays reckons it's actually a vinyl stain rather than a surface paint.

a retrim is the best route - painting will not last and trying to mask off the rest of the seat for a clean finish will be nearly impossible. That
colour do you want to change to?

thinkin of doing car kawasaki green so would like trim to match
i suppose on yellow a blue marker would do same job i could just keep touching it up

seriously mate, if you want it to look good either change the seats, romove the piping, or replace the piping. Anything else will be and look a total
bodge. Vinyl only costs £10 a meter.

I used Vinylcote on a steering wheel spokes and a central console. It worked quite well but you have to make sure everything is thoroughly degreased,
It is quite flexible but I think that seat piping will be pushing the limit and flake / wear off after a while.

I changed a motorcycle seat from white to black using vinylkote, lasted for about a year out in all weathers.

if they were leather, you could use Dylon dye; doubt it is any good on plastic.
Europa catalogue has some spary on stuff for vinyl but I suspect it won't last long.
What about permament marker? used on vinyl bus seats everywhere...
