I'm not sure about the latest single, but the one released a month or two back I thought was superb.
Where's he been for the last 20 years (no-one mention the Styless Council who were rubbish IMHO )

Have to agree re: Styleless council; I always clubbed them with Morrisey as being for Student Union Pseuds.

Last track I heard of Wellers was 'The Changing Man' which I though was very good.
Apart from that the only other times I've seen him written about was that accusation of rape thing in 2000 and the drunk and disorderly on an
aircraft a few years ago!

He's been making records consistently since the Jam really - and don't knock the Style Coucil - they were good in their day (still listen
to it on the iPod now )
He's superb in concert, seen him a few times - and the last ever Jam concert in Brighton, with the Piranha's in support .....
One of my all time fav's... but then I am an ex-Brighton '80's Mod.

80's mod?
I was a mod first time round with my Lambretta . Then I found bikes were faster and more fun. I always liked Paul Weller, good writer as well as
performer whichever band he was with.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
