Weight of locost...........how do you lift yours?
Just mucking about in the garage last night as you do, and despite using a "boat anchor" vauxhall XE engine, and the car being pretty much
complete in terms of weight, my brother and I noticed that we could lift the front or back of the car pretty easily!!!
This surprised me somewhat as I didn't think it would be that easy!
Can't wait to see what the finished car weighs now! I'll be surprised if it's much over 550kg!

bench press is a lot harder than a dead lift, or whatever its called, so it no suprise you couldnt move it!

Aye, lifting with you arms ain't going to move it unless you are superhuman, lifting with your legs is at least possible for a light car.
BTW mind your backs, as you will look a real tit showing off to your mates then needing them to call you an ambulance

Nah! I couldn't bench press the damn thing!!!! My brother and I put our hands under the the tube that runs under the lower edge of the rear
panel and lifted it from there pretty easily, and at the front we lifted it with our fingers though the holes in the alloys.
At the back on my own I can JUST take all the weight off the springs, but not quite get the tyres off the ground!
