Hello!!

My First post and topic!
just wanted to introduce myself to this madhouse - i've been looking at the forum for about a month now and have finally joined. I have just ordered my MK Indy on saturday though have not chosen my fiberglass colour yet (thoughts?). I'm going with a car engine though the test drive in the bike engined car at mk was unreal. I'm not going the BEC route though as the car is not an out and out track car.

Two basic questions though - how do iget an avatar on here and how can i make pictures in gallery smaller?!?

Hi and welcome.
Good choice of kit and there wont be much that you can't get an answer for here!
To get your avatar you need to go into control panel, edit profile and add a link to a picture in the box. Bear in mind that the picture needs to be quite small.
As far as making the piuctures smaller, you can use any of the standard windows programs such as paint by loading it up and choosing stretch/shrink and decreasing its percentage, though there are lots of MUCH better proggs out there, such as paint shop pro etc

Not quite the answer you are looking for - apologies in advance but i cant remeber how to do it either. I do know that there will be a post somewhere that explains it quite easy - if you click on the search button and put in avatar it might find the link for you.

Is this more helpful?

Ive basically saved my avatar in my photo archive (as you have done already). Opened the pic up, rightclicked on the adress bar and copied the link. Go into control plan (making sure you are logged on etc), edit profile, scroll down to avatar box and paste the link in their. Cross all fingers, wait for full moon, smear your self in honey and goose feathers (whilst being naked of course), run around shouting 'Mooooossse' on the stroke of 12 and it might just work!

Just go in to your profile, select "edit profile" and in the section that says "Avatar URL" just paste the link to your avatar. Voila.

The indy is a great kit, and the guys at MK very helpful, but it's well worth double checking that everything is ready as per your order before you set off to collect.

Particularly if you are ordered extra bits like powder coating.

Cheers

Stu
