Elise seats
Anyone fitted Lotus Elise seats?
Im having a sod of a job getting the runners into the chassis 'cos they stick out about 2" wider than the seat itself
They look great and id love to get them in.
Cheers.

I used elise seats.I remade the section between the seat and the runners so I could bring the runners in a bit. This also raised them a little bit
because the seat sat below the runner.

Would you have any pic's or drawings?
Did you you just put spacers in to raise the seat and if so by how much please?

I'm fitting elise seats.
Like you i am having probs because of the width of the runners. I have so far bent the drivers side grab handle to narrow the track and will be making
brackets to fit the runners to the seat. Possibly make the brackets from bent ali.

Ive tried moving the original stuff about but then there is the way the seat bulges underneath so i have come up with a box section frame to go
underneath to then fit the original runners to but i think it then makes the seats too high. Im looking forward to some pic's maybe from
Eagle.
Ill try and post some pics in a bit if i can work out how to do it.

I am fitting Lotus seats to my Viento and they drop in no problem with gaps spare on sides!

Hector, your chassis must either be wide or the Viento has a narrow tranny tunnel.
Any one got any other suggestions or photo's please?
