Listen mate I'll be proud to be seen driving one and you know what else? I'll look super cool with my chest wig and gold medallion and
Jason King moustache!
I might even perm my hair and get some flares!
Yes it will probaby handle like a pig on ice skates and you'd get more oomph out of a Scooby Doo Impreza turbo but a 70's muscle car is
all about excess and it shouts RRRAWWWWRRRR! at you. It's a man's car..super cool!
Unless you were born in the sixties and grew up in the seventies, I wouldn't expect you to understand!
Hope you had a good Easter!
Cheers
Jon

Plebs!
It's a Ford Mustang MACH I.
Similar to what was used in "Gone in 60 Seconds".
Not as cool as a 1966 GT350 though!

I was born in the 80s...but I still like the American muscle cars. Awsome sound, huge V8 and pure excess. They may not be fast, but they are fun!
(And cool )

Hey! Stop changing the subject....E types, jags, floppy tops what's that all about? We're talking Mustangs here, let's not stray
from the job in hand. Jonny wants a Mustang so keep your eyes open please and let me know if you see one! I don't want to hear any more about E
types and floppy tops or how crap these cars are, just find me one NOW!
P.S. I hope you all had a nice Easter!

In the original yes, was a GT500 used in the re make, a better looking car in my opinion, not sure on the body kit and extras they stick on it in the
film though.
The GT350 was the first race car i ever went in and got my into motorsport from an early age. It was a family friend who raced one, when i was a bit
older i used to spanner for him, he has an original 1960s cobra now that he uses in classic rallys, very very expensive car.
I will own a GT350 one day, to me there is no better sounding engine that the ford 289 (4.7l)

Last time I was at Stoneleigh I saw a Mustang that had been built to match the Bullitt car - same colour (sorry, color), hiked-up suspension, and the
same AMAZING noise when he started it.
As you say - probably corners like a legless terrapin, totally OTT, but I want one!
