She runs!!!!

Yes after weeks of surgery the Tangerine Ninja is almost roadworthy. Took her for a run today and all seems ok. Just one small problem, no brakes. Must have knocked one of the front brake pipes and split it. Just one more small job for the morning! She's bloody quick tho' specially when you only have the handbrake to stop you

Been for a shakedown run this afternoon and she behaves very well, the gearchange is really sweet, better than a 'blade box. I thought I might have to go down on the spring rates at the front but it seems fine. Time will tell. Quite intoxicating these Jap engines are'nt they? Still miss the old x-flow tho'
Just a few little things to sort like fuel gauge, speedo etc.. and we're cooking on gas!

Possibly! But then you are getting close to the magic 1k postings!

I was looking at my progress over 2002 compared with 2001 and 2000 in my build diary and it did drop last year. I am gonna put a concerted effort to get it as far as complete body and painted before the winter sets in. Averaging 10 hrs a week at present and wanna make hay before October and the icicles come. Its brass monkeys slows me down more than the internet.

The key is to get a job where you can spend all day here and that leaves all evening for building! Doesn't everyone have a job where fulltime browsing is standard?

Steve, being the resident soft southern jessie I've got two oil filled radiators in my garage. Soon as I get home they go on they by the time I've changed and had something to eat it's getting pretty toasty in the garage!

Cheers,

James
