Tin Top Exhaust
Hi
My father in law has had to remove the bottom heat shield from his catalytic convertor as it was hanging down and hitting the road.
Is there a problem not having this shield in place?
Whats it for as it does not offer a huge amount of protection?
Cheers for any info.

PS also dont park it in any long dry Grass !!!!!

Shouldn't be a problem to take it off, mine was rattling on my Pug 106 and during a routine service the garage just took it off, that was 2
years ago and still have no problems

If a bolt is stuck force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway!!!
