rear wheels
Got a mk2 escort rear axle , what wheels are best to use as they neet to have a deepish dish in order to look right in the arch
Thanks again

the basic choices are RS2000 mk2 escort wheels, minilights or superlights.
if you dont want to use spacers you need 6" wide ET19 offset or less, so the tyres clear the front trailing arm bolt heads.
to bring the wheels further out to fill the arches better you would need ET10(if you can find any!)

Capri Laser 13 inch wheels 6 inch rims have, I think the same offset as the RS2000. They look exactly the same but use a standard tapered wheel nut
instead of the type with a washer and spigot. I mention this because they may be a bit less expensive than the RS2000 wheels.

Capri wheels are definitely cheaper than RS 2000 ones. They are stronger too, or so I am told. I got a set of five in excellent nick for £60.00.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

Check that they are round! Seems to be an awful lot of buckled RS2000 wheels around these days.
