I've got a BIG PACKAGE!!!!!!!!!!!1

evening all,

on returning home from work this evening, from which i had had a very good day, i saw what appeared to be a very large package in the porch.

what this? i asked myself. it was addressed to me and plastered in DAX wrapping tape!ooooooooooooooooooow, what could it be?

any way after setting my jacket down i raced for my pen knife and started hacking!

bet you are wanting to know what it is now arn't you, have i built the suspence enough yet?

ok ok, i will tell you, IT WAS MY SEATS FOR MY RUSH, see pic below, i was sooooooooo happy and rounded my day of a treat.

hope your day was as good as mine.

ATB Alex

Oooh looks nice!!

Dont get why the tunnel cutout is so big ?? Isn't that about a foot cut out? Does something funny happen to the back of a dax tunnel?

hi liam,

unfortunately i dont have a photo of the back end of the tunnel, but it starts to flare a little towards the rear bulkhead panel, but i plan to carpet the sides of the tunnel and then vinyl on top. so that is why the cut out look big but the are really, it is a bit deceptive from the photo

i did have to dig out the shiney gold coins for these but i said to myself, that comfort is going to be a big part of the car for me personally, and my dad has a bad back, so with him in mind as well, i thought that GRP seats would be impracticle.

i think that the upholsterer has done himself proud on these

si mate i wish, we have had a bit of a problem with the rear gear box mount and with starting a new job it has put me a month behind schedule! once i can get the rear mount sorted i should be able to make a bit of a move forward. but now i have to wait further for my manifold to be made for my R1 carbs as well. AND..... my samco hosing still hasn't turned up, im going to get on to rally design first thing monday as i have been waiting for seven weeks now!
