Hi Rich

Have you done any calculations on the gearing of the ZX10 motor? From the data I found on the web it looks like it is quite low geared compared to an R1 or blade. I did a few calcs and came up with these top speeds using 195/50 R15 tyres

3.62 diff 113 mph
3.38 diff 121mph
3.14 diff 130mph

This assumed a rev limit of 13,000 rpm. Given that I would recommend you look for a 3.14 diff!

Cheers

Paul

Rich, give Kawasaki UK a ring. Tell them your engine number and they'll send a wiring diagram out to you. Their customer service dept is great.

i know the internal gearing is a bit low so diff chioce is quite crucial settled for a 3.21/1 should let it hit 63 in first and 125 topend

cheers phil i'd not thought about kawasaki themselves. I also found out today that powersports at claycross is part of our dealer group so could be another avenue to explore
