Backplate for Escort Axle

Hello, I'm after a backplate for an escort axle. Mine got damaged in an accident and is bent.

It's for the drivers side and it looks like this

Cheers, Lee.

You could swap both sides for some newer rear drum ones off of a front wheel drive car like the Fiesta or Mk5 Escort.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Cheers Pete, may have to do that if I can't sort out a replacement.

Dunno Omega, it's a standard backplate from and escort Mk2. I'll measure it next time I'm near.

Is it the Atlas Capri type axle with the backplate on the diff housing?

Try here.

It's probably standard 8" English.

If Pete doesn't have one no-one will!
