I kept MPG figures for a while. The most I put in in one go was 30 litres. I averaged 29 MPG. As a rule, I fill up before I get to 180 miles on a tank, just in case, apart form the time when I forgot. 191 miles and about 50 metres from a petrol station.

Thank you everyone.

So ... it may be good for 45 - 50 minutes of track time, right? Considering 0,75 l / minute...

Any personal experience?

Thanks again,
Joao

Jao,

I think i wou ld be lucky to get that in the 4.2 Rover V8 !

I think you would get a good 30 minutes or so depending on the track. Remember on the track you will be going full tilt rather than the on / off road driving.

Let us know how you get on

I'll be on Estoril
two sets of 1 hour each plus two sets of half an hour.
Probably a couple 400m timings in the sub 1400cc not modified class; and if the car (or driver ) still kicks I'll get into personall chanlange, 2 cars down the strip...

I'm currently with problems changing from 1st to 2nd in very very high rpm, so I may skip pure accelaration events...

Joao
