Tidying wiring
I have got my loom back in the car after having it on the dining room table for a week trying to make head and tail of it after my second bout of
' Yesssss it's working  .........Oh balls now its not  '
I have quite a lot of wires that are longer than they need to be under the dash, probably about 40 in all.
Whats the best (read easiest) way of bundling them all together and securing them in an SVA proof stylee?
Anyone got any pictures that would inspire me?

How about bunching them up, loop back and forth and cable tie them, then fit an underdash panel to hide everythgin from the SVA man?

Do it right and cut them to the correct length, then take pics to show SVA man how good you are!

As long as you are sure that you don't need the extra length, cut them down and reterminate the ends - you will feel a lot better about it

Easy way if it is redundant but possibly required in future is to cut back, leaving ~20mm fold 5mm back and put a piece of heatshrink over the end,
making sure a couple of mm is left . When you shrink it get in quick with a pair of pliers and squeeze the 'overhang' this leaves a neat
sealed termination. Better still use a yellow/red heatshrink and label the tube with fine permanent marker prior to shrinking.
