I saw that very car at a RWYB session at Santa Pod a few years ago. Couldn't wait to see it run, unfortunately he couldn't get the engine
running - apparently it's really easy to flood a wankel engine!

I used to have an Estelle (not Mazda-powered, unfortunately). Really good fun driving through roundabouts, had upset a few sports car drivers. Mind
you, they always hammered past me once off the roundabout...
Used to wander on motorway inside lanes where lorries had left ruts. Cross-winds were also fun. A really heavy toolkit in the front luggage space
was always recommended.
The Estelle used to be popular with club racers - the wheelbase is exactly the same as a formula 2 chassis! Very odd to see one of those hammering
round a track...
