Mega squirt again
Am I correct to assume that if the MS can't see the TPS the engine won't start?

The car won't start. I'm trying to find the reason why. When I looked at the wiring diagram, I though I wonder if the TPS needs
re-calibrating. When I tried the mega squirt was getting no signal.
Tps broke or a wiring failer

May also be your 5v ref connection. If this isn't right the MS won't really understand the TPS signal.

If megasquirt is seeing your throttle as being wide open during cranking it will go into "flood clear" mode, and no fuel will be injected.
You need to sort your tps problem and then calibrate tps before you go any further.

to resolve a TPS isue is very easy!!
on one of the 3 pins you need to measure
5volt between them and the cars ground/negative battery.
on on of the 3 pins you need to measure
battery power between positive terminal and one of the 3 wires (the ground one)
on the other wire you should measure between ground/negative and that terminal a voltage wich is between 0 and 5 volts that one is your signal! sow if
you open throttle that value needs to change! acordingly! maybe its only a wire loose!!
or a bad ground
