Aaaaaannnd again...(using a Zetec engine)
Hi Guys,
I am absolutely positive that this subject will have been covered time and time again, but having spent ages trawling the search facility for threads
involving the word Zetec I decided to ask:
Can somebody tell me if there is a site/thread that will tell me exactly how to go about using a 1.8/2.0 Ford Zetec engine with an MT75 gearbox
please? Ie: what parts do I need to do the job as cheaply as possible, what changes will need to be made ie: pumps, starters, sumps etc and what legal
requirements are there for which years? I am looking to build the new Haynes roadster, but this site seems to hold far more info than the Haynes one
as it has been going for so long! I know that companies like Luego used to have demonstrators using 1800 Zetecs etc. but with all this
Megajolt/Megasquirt stuff I'm getting really confused
Like I said, sorry this has been covered before, but any help gratefully received.
Stewart.

Have a look at
http://www.zetec-cat.co.uk/
and follow the link to zetec resources,
there is a fair bit of info on there about a Zetec install only he used a type 9 box but as long as you use a mt75 from a 4 pot you will be ok.
