Very neat
Are you going to put some padding over the rear of the hand brake lever - that's right where your elbow will go.

was going to fit foam then cover it with a leather gaiter, as per gear lever. Obviously, I will changer the hand brake handle to something with a
little more bling though.

I want to lower the brake-lever into the frame.
Did you made it your self? So yes what's the material?

I shortened the handbrake mounting brackets and welded them so the hand brake sits much lower. I then made a raised tunnel top which effectively made
the lever flush mounted. I don't like the look of the standard lever. I will replace the handle and make a nice gaiter and surround for it.
