Ford DOHC alternate box's to MT75

Hi, anyone used an alternative gearbox to the MT75 with a 2.0L DOHC 8v Ford motor? Nothing against the 75, just can't get hold of one.
Cheers.
Pete.

The MT75 shares the common Ford bellhousing bolt pattern, so any Ford RWD box will fit, except the V6 Cologne and Essex types.

Type 9, RS2000, etc. will fit.

The mt 75 box is readily available it just a matter of looking where in the uk are you .

Also try www.fordsierraclub.co.uk just ask in there theres a 20 post rule but a few cars being broken most weeks mainly due to rust.
They also have an excellent tech section as well

Cheers, I'm in Sheffield, tried the local breakers and part finder services with no joy, the eBay item looks promising, will check out the sierra club....
