ITG jc 40 air filter
I am looking for an air filter to fit to my throttle bodys, i am restricted for space and looking at sizes the iTG 40 filters look as if they would
fit ok.
I have seen them advertised by a few suppliers but all rather expensive at around £85 for a sausage type or £70 for a box shape, can anyone tell me
a cheap supplier , or better still has anyone got a used one spare?
Paul.

i'm also looking for an itg jc40/65
i'd maybe consider the pipercross equivalent if it wasn't for the fact that the logo is huuuuge, and the rep that came to work was an
absolute arsehole
neither are really very good reasons to not have a pipercross one, but i've set my mind on an itg one.
is steve turner still trading?
would we have enough people for another group buy?
i'd probably need it too soon for a group buy to be viable, but i still don't want to pay £120 for filter and backplate.

I have looked at the Pipercross air filters but dont have enough room. The ITG is a fair bit smaller and will just fit with a hole in the bonnet.
i had a p600 before but couldnt fit it without it looking untidy and possibly fouling the chassis and nose cone.
The alternatives are to make an airbox that sticks out through the bonnet or try to make a foam filter to fit if i can obtain some suitable foam.

I ended up making an ally airbox because of space issues

We had a custom airbox made because of lack of space. It works well and looks good too.

I did on my crossflow installation and managed to fit it under the bonnet but with the zetec it will need to protrude from the bonnet a bit.I cant
decide if it would look ok or a foam filter would look better.I would also need to fit a seperate filter under the bonnet and cant really get a cold
air supply to it easily.
I have found somewhere local that produces air filter foam and also notice a lot of foam available on Ebay for use in pond filters, so may try and
make one if I can find out what to stick it with I suspect polyurethane panel adhesive will stick it.
