fuel pipe
my fuel tank has a piece of clear pipe that shows how much fuel is in the tank. Over the last couple of years its become hard to see the fuel level so
whilst the car is in bits i thought i'd replace it. However i cant find a replacement anywhere. some1 did tell me its illegal to use plastic
pipe for fuel but i'm not sure.
basically i need a piece of clear pipe 8mm diameter and about 10 inch long. suitable for unleaded fuel?
pls help

I have seen clear petrol pipe, at least as flexable pipe with reniforcing strings, ring a few motor factors? Might do the trick?

Try a lawnmower / strimmer / garden machinery repair shop. They use it as flexible fuel pipe from the tank to the engine, and if it's ok for
that, then it should be ok for your needs.
