Sevice History
What do you do ref keeping service history on your cars?
Does anyone have a snazzy template they use on PC for recording service / maintenance details?
I could make one up but it will be plain.

I created a 'manual' for the car on my PC - sounds posh, but really it's all the useful data collected neatly into chapters (Spark
plug type, oil filter type, torque settings, etc.).
At the back of this I have a page that has 3 columns: date, mileage, details of service. Next page to this is a checklist of all the things I should
be doing at each service, just in case I forget anything - the sort of thing you get in a car's handbook that tells you what the dealer's
supposed to be doing.

Saw a leather bound service manual, i think for a Caterham on ebay and thought that would be a good thing to have for my car, with reciepts photos
etc. Will give any future owner confidence in the car and probably help me remember when i need to do service things.

Ive just drew up a sheet in excell with a Mac#1 logo and pic of car at the top. i have kept a handwritten log since SVA but decided to do something a
little better. Ive created columns to record part numbers, suppliers and costs as well which will serve a reminder when i service later as my memory
is terrible at best.
My build manual is quite comprehensive already so im please with that. Ive also kept sections for insurance, receipts etc.
I wonder if there is a way to get nice bound files online printed with logo of your choice at reasonable cost?

I am researching at the moment and had the idea of a Filofax type cover in Ally, Carbon or Leather with a space or place for a nosecone badge. You can
use the plastic pocket leaves for other documents and reciepts
