New Fiat Punto Ad

Just seen the new ad for the Grande Punto;

" Italian Job Remixed"

Perhaps someone should point out to their publicity department, that it was the Fiats, that couldn't catch the Minis. OOPS!

( Grande Punto, now there's a contradiction in terms, if ever I heard one!)

hence why they used the term "remixed"? as in now its the other way around.

grande punto, a fruitier car with more standard equipment than the mini, a larger, more comfy car and all for around 15,000€ instead of the mini which goes on to nearly 25k and thats without the "cooper" badge. its still a mini "one".

really...

Im not much of a 'fiat fan', but i must say that the mini is just a fashion accessory.

SWMBO has a Grande Punto. It's a bit tinny, but stuffed full of electrical toys (to go wrong out of warranty) and is comfortable and nippy (but not fast it's the 1.2). Won't be keeping it beyond 2 years, but it goes well enough for now.
