Thats cheaper than I imagined!
But then i suppose you have to factor in a full engine rebuld, cases split - full bearings change - cos I wouldn't fancy spending that sort of
cash on an engine and the main bearings fail
awesome hike in power though!

Yes, but I bet it doesn't tell you how much it costs to get 550bhp, and what you need to spend on the motor alone to make it last more than 30
seconds!

Exactly, and even if it will last more than 30s between rebuilds, running 550bhp in a (presumably drag) bike, and running it in a BEC trackday car are
two entirely different prospects in terms of cooling etc.
