what glue wont melt with petrol
hi i have a pinhole leak in my motorbikes fuel tap i want to fill it to stop it driping but not sure what to use that wont be affected by the fuel.
i cant find a new one forsale as its an american import and i have tryed a number of u.s dealars who cant get new ones in as it a 1989 bike.(the hole
is around 0.5 mm its tinny)

I would have thought that a standard 2-part epoxy like Araldite would do the job, as long as you got the surfaces ABSOLUTELY clean.

PU adhesive is very good with petrol

There`s a sealant for integral tanks used in aviation...
Aircraft supply carries it in USA.

Use the two pack araladite, but not the fast setting one, the 24 hour setting one. Make sure everything is spottless and you'll never have a
problem
I did this on the bottom of a motorbike tank many years ago the night before going to the TT and it was still okay when the bike left my ownership
three or four years later
