Wilwood rear calipers with Hand Brake
Anyone used the Wilwood rear handbrake caliper set? I have been told that handbrake effort is a little low and I am a bit concerned about this?
thanks

Hi have used a few sets and can confirm that the handbrake setup is a little lacking.
But should be capable of passing an mot.
But the hydrualic side of the setup works fine.

bigRich passed SVA with some. He commented it was slightly lacking, but put it down to lack of bedding in of the pads.
I will (funds permitting) be going this route.

I've got them and they are a bit on the weak side so I've connected the handbrake via a multiplier lever in the tunnel. The lever
(6" long) is pivoted on one tunnel rail, cable pull is about 1" from the piot and the handbrake pulls the other end via a fiesta cable
(front section - 10" long - treaded one end , eye on the other). Gives 6/1 advantage and seems good now but we'll see what MrSVA
thinks!
