what happens when safety recalls arent done
jeep cherookee turns corner and lower ball joint pulls out of housing in upright drops into wheel and cuts a groove .
apprently there was a recall last year but they seem to forget where i lived but can still send me invites for test drives of the new models

Looks like you've answered your own question in your pictures. Bad luck mate. Complain politely but forcefully and try to get it all fixed,
including a new wheel.

Bad luck but jeep should cover the costs for that if it was a recall
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I'd push for a free service too.
Surely it's up to them to prove contact with you as they've supplied an unsafe vehicle ?

Audi had a recall on the A4 models for a similar fault , I had a customer who had a ball joint fail , I replaced both bottom arms . Audi reimbursed
him for parts and labour even though the repair was carried out by an independant garage. At the time the Audi was 3 years old and well out of
warranty

Can't complain about that standard of service - apart from not getting the recall notice, anyway...

apparently the original dealer set all notifications to their registered office address and to the the purchasers address. Great the original
dealership sold out to another and all paperwork wasn't updated. As such if you know any one who brought a jeep/chrysler in ipswich from
hadleigh car port they wont have had any of the safety recalls carried out and they would be adviesed to contact the nearest dealership asap

Hi Get them to chech the steering drag link joints also. They have a habit of failing also but no recall ever issued on them. Ussually picked up at
mot time before they finally give up.
Cheers Matt
