No!
NO NO NO!
Sounds like a dodgy fecker from the start!
Taking Gaypal or credit card payments just leaves you open to said dodgy fooker doing a chargeback and boogering off into the sunset with your car...

If he pays by paypal then you will obviously want to get the funds transferred to your own bank account before releasing the car so as with any other
form of transaction just insist on cleared funds before releasing the car - whichever way he pays.

Hi
I see he also recently bought another car.
I think he is genuine, BUT he has not got the cash. I think he has only got the funds on a credit card thats why he wants to pay over the phone or by
paypal.
If he pays by paypal you will have about £100 fees so I would let him pay by paypal if he agrees to pay an additional £100. This is not alowed by eBay
rules but you did not list it as an option for paying so just ask him if he agrees then there is no problem once the funds are in your paypal
account.

I wouldn't do it - even if you get the money out of your paypal account before handing the car over, you will have a problem if he raises a
dispute.
I would point out that you made the payment terms clear and if he doesn't want to pay that way then file a non paying bidder report and relist
it.
Just my 2p worth.
Cheers

I'd just offer him cash on collection to get the deal done in one go.

Agreed. COD is always best. Even if he only has credit cards to pay he can still get the cash from them to pay you.
