HAHA!
I was int he garage last night for the first time in weeks (finally got the electrician back to reconnect the pwoer in there...)
Was sooooo cold, but after half an hour i popped back in the house and was roasting!
Worth getting stuck in. Just not the time of year for rubbing your chin deciding what to do next!

Count yourself lucky...
My garage is not only cold, but because its raining outside, its also raining in the garage....
How on earth water can find its way though over a foot of reinforced concrete is beyond me...![](/images//smilies/shocked.gif)

You're all soft southern wussies
I'd kill for a garage, try working outside kneeling in dirt and freezing yer knackers off

Despite having 40m2 of garage space, I still work out in the pouring rain as the garage is full of crap.....

My main problem in the garage is cold feet - legs, body, arms, no problem, just my feet.
One of these days I'll make the wooden slatted standing area I keep promising myself.
Or get some moon-boots!

I have found a proper pair of thermal ski socks or hiking socks over a normal pair of socks works wonders.

I'd be fine if I could get my feet off the cold concrete - hence the bit about wooden slatted flooring. The membrane on my floor is suspect, so
I can't put rubber mat down. Same goes for floor tiles, which Paul G (907) likes. Wooden slats get me off the concrete, allows the floor to
breathe, and can be picked up for sweeping when required.
One of these days....

Same problem - anything that covers the floor gets damp underneath after a week or two.
The wooden slats are cheap enough, it's just a round-tuit job...

Just checked out our 8000sq ft unit and it's bloody cold in there.
The original tenant has removed the hot air heater unit
Hopefully soon we will be set up 1 minute off M1 J40 Osset with 4wd rolling road and other facilities for tuning. All Locosts will be welcome, may
even do a Locost day.

I can see the shed from here and it looks bleak through the rain so I'll leave it alone. I've got to go in and put the trickle charger on
the battery but it looks like waiting.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
