hi there i would like to learn how to map ecus but cant find much on the subject does any1 know of anything where i can learn it. i had thought about getting megasquirt and an old engine and learning that way

Yeah, nice to see one of the MS 'pros' on here! As to the original post, you'll probably get a better response if you put it in the fuel injection forum!

There is no better way of learning than to build and tune a Megasquirt, and reading the manuals is a damn good start.
