Chassis Number
I have a velocity XT chassis that was made in 2004 and I do not have a chassis number. What has other people done to overcome this that will enable me
to get through the SVA?
thanks

make up your own and stamp the chassis, after you send paperwork off to make sure the number is accepted by the dvla first!

I just sent a letter to the local DVLA suggesting my chassis number. I think it has to be a minimum of 17 characters with no I's, O's
etc.
It is on the DVLA website somewhere.
Then I just engraved it into the chassis rail using a dremmel. It looked fine and the SVA man was chuffed with it!

I asked old Luego for a chassis number, although I know of two other kits given chassis numbers that are the same by the manufacturer
