Electric Reverse - HYBRID???

Pub banter last night went onto my electric reverse and the possibility of getting even cheaper tax due to "duel fuel" etc lol.

But could it be done, possible loophole as the car could drive backwards with no petrol aid.

Then we moved onto the congestion charges and being able to twat round london midweek for free!

someone shatter my dream or tell me it possible lol!

If you make a fully electric vehicle, with a relatively small battery, then tow a bloody great diesel generator belching black smoke to charge the batteries, can you get away with not paying the congestion charge/road tax? - also you can run a generator on red diesel/heating oil/veg oil or whatever quite legitimately

You could drive any car on the starter in theory so are all cars hybrids.

The must be a legal definition for VED?
