Hamilton abuse
Pictures on the BBC website show alleged Spanish F1 fans wearing curly wigs, with their faces blacked over, T shirts saying "Hamilton
Family" and allegedly shouting racist taunts at Hamilton - seems as if they haven't forgotten their facist roots after all.
And there was me thinking our European partners were all part of the same civilised society!
Disgusted, Pewe.

Just shows how stupid they are if they think he can hear them through earplugs and an F1 engine.

On the radio a good point was made, it was not a long time ago that happened at football matches. At least we have changed!

I'm kind of dissapponted that the FIA haven't taken some sort of action already, instead of the threat of action if it happens again.
I haven't seen the news or any footage, but surely an official from the circuit should have pulled these people out straight away, if they were
dressed in wigs and black make up.
A fine for the circuit operators should have been incurred, plus the threat of losing the grand prix if it were to happen again.

This is a ridiculous statement to make. The thack is not owned by and the spectators are not affiliated to McLaren so No fines or action are likely to
be taken

If the track let them in looking like that (CCTV?) then they could well be in trouble but I doubt that even people stupid enough to do this
wouldn't bring their outfit in with them...

I'm hoping that he'll be so far ahead in the points next year he can refuse to race in Spain!
Then I remembered he's sponsored by Abbey (owned by Spanish Santander group) so I doubt a principle like that is allowed!

Think you may have misunderstood me, surely it's sombodies responsibility to make sure racists/anarchists/terrorists and the like aren't
allowed into a sporting event.
So if the people that control the circuit have allowed these knob jockeys in, they should be the people that are punished.
And I was suggesting the Grand Prix be removed from the calendar, as the FIA have already implied, should any more racism be evident.

I suspect he is just letting it go over his head, his got plenty on his plate this year to worry about a few half wits....with his wages and success
do you think he is really bothered! I'd have a good laugh at them, if that's the best they can come up with, what would really get their
backs up. Stand in front of them doing a "Harry Enfield loadsamoney " salute.

FIA ! :-)
Max Mosely has done more than a bit of that kind of bile himself in support of his late father.
In 1959 Max and his older brother Alex organised the painting of the letters "KBW" -- his fathers election slogan "Keep Britain
White" over most of Nottinghill.
The KBW graffitti and the riots that followed formed the background for the movie "Absolute Beginners"

what i'm saying is racism is wrong.
we don't put up with it in football and so if the fools want to bring down f1 then take the action necessary to put a stop to it. if that is the
threat of no gp in spain then so be it
max may have extreem belief's but if he does not want the sport to become a whites only minority sport then he will be forced to take action.
who votes the members of the fia on and off?
if it was not for hamlton i would have absolutly no interest in F1 at all.

Sorry Billynomates but my remark was meant as a tongue in cheek dig as to how certain things to certain teams is OK in F1.
You are of course right that there is no place for this behaviour in F1 or anywhere else for that matter (however as BT says there is a management
history in MM)
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
