Paypal
Hello.
Can you receive money into your paypal account, if you haven't got a bank of building society set up in it?

yup, you just can't withdraw it. Also you are limited to about $500 a month in receipts

As far as I know, yes. Even if you have a account registered they do not put
received cash in it, they keep it in the Paypal account. Presumably so they get the interest.
You have to transfer it yourself and if more than £50 (ish) at a time they charge you.
Very kind aren't they ?

PayPal now limits you to receiving £1700 per calendar year, unless you verify your bank account.
Downside is they could take chargebacks from your debit account and put you seriously in the red.

I thought I read somewhere when I setup my account without bank details that you could only recieve 2 payments per year untill you'd registered
your account details with them. (and breathe)
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
