No claims bonus

Do you guys earn no claims bonus on your kit car insurance?

Just had my renewal through from Adrian Flux and noticed I didn't get any. Is this normal on a limited mileage policy?

You don't get any but to be fair I only saw something like a £10 increase after a £3k claim, was well chuffed.

I just seemed to go up a lot this year. Could be my imagination but I'm sure I paid £120 last years and this year is £170.

I can't for the life of me remember who I'm with even though I renewed it yesterday!!! How sad is that?
I haven't even sent back my miniscule mileage guarantee yet and can't find it!

I didn't change people though, just got a cheap quote through, rang them and said the usual to get it cheaper and got it down to the £182 as above!

Apply for cover from your existing insurer as a new customer and it’s likely you’ll be given a cheaper price. This is because car insurers like any company will happily profit from apathy if they can. Most insurers will just bump up your renewal premium, hope you don't notice the extra and then profit from it.

Ring round a few other insurers, then go back to your current insurer and ask them to beat the lowest quote.
