Weber 28/36 Carb

Hi All,

I am desperately looking for an Italian 28/36 weber carb, I race in the Locost series with the 750 Club. I have had a stuttering problem for a long time and it is hurting me big time. I need to find an original one from an escort 1300 gt or similar if any one can help that would be great. Thanks in anticipation.

Steve Evans.

a picture of the offending item if it helps -

have you checked the accelerator jet, that will cause stuttering if blocked when you try to accelerate. Rescued attachment carb.jpg

What size chokes does it have? I have one in the garage with smaller than 26/27 which is the norm for the 2l. Will look this evening to see what size they are.

Hello, I think the chokes have to be 23 and 24 mm. From the 1300gt and sports etc.
Thanks Steve.

The carb you are after is a 32 DGV NOT a 32/36.

the 32/36 has 26 and 27 mm chokes. You need 23/24 mmchokes.

There are tons of 32/36 around but 32 DGV seem as rare as nuts on a rocking horse.
