indicators

I have to get ready for SVA test, just tried counting how many flashes the indicators are doing/per min.
Way too many.
I am using a fiesta indicator stork with wiring loom from donor mkII escort. funny thing is when the hazard lights are on the flash time is fine. as soon as the indicators are put on they go ballistic.
Any idea's on a fix??

sounds like the wattage on some of your bulbs are wrong.

Try replacing the bulbs with a different wattage one at a time and see if it makes any diference.

I would check that you have 21w bulbs in the indicators - the wrong wattage can cause this.

Cheers

Do you have bike indicators anywhere? If so, you may find that they're 10W instead of 21W - this can be fixed by a visit to your local bike shops who'll have a 23W bulb with the same-size package (the extra 2W will make an imperceptible difference).

Don't bother with Halfrauds or similar, as car shops don't sell anything other than standard car bulbs - this one's a bike special.
