Uploading pictures to photo archive- SOLVED!!

Anyone else having problems?
I've tried logging out, logging back in again, different browser etc etc....

It seems to upload okay but doesn't appear in the folder. Strange....

Try changing the file name so that it's unique - having the same name as a picture already in the database UNDER ANY USER used to cause problems.

Also, avoid any odd characters (stick to a-z, 0-9, hyphens and underline).

Pretty easy really when you know how.

1. Resize pic to a sensible size (I use 600 x 450 pixels) and save to a filename with no spaces in on your computer or it doesnt like it here.
2. Click photo archive and find your own archive.
3. Create a new folder if you wish within your archive.
4. Click [Browse] at the bottom of the page next to "Upload New Photo" and find the resized picture on your computer.
5. Enter a description and then click [upload]

Should be as simple as that really.

Hi Everyone, I can manage to upload pictures to the Archive but sometimes the picture that I have just uploaded goes to the top of the list of previously uploaded pictures and sometimes it goes to the bottom.

Is it possible that they can be added in date order so that the pictures are chronological?

John
