kitcar 1-face 0

lastnight i welded up my rear lower wishbones for the roadster and they twisted slightly so this morning i put one in the vice and put a spare bit of 25x25 tube in between it and gave it a pull to try and straighten it up. i gave it one good pull and the bar slipped and hit me in the face just below the left side of my nose. 3 hours at a&e and 3 stitches later i just hope it wont scar too much

You have to laugh (after you've found a quiet corner to cry to yourself without anyone seeing!).

I did something similar getting the fill plug out of my diff - it was sized dead, so I stuck a 2ft bit of tube on a wrench to give a bit more leverage. Didn't think about the fact it's an oil fill plug, so was well lubricated apart from the very outer bit. Sent me reeling off into the rear suspension of my Indy and have a 4inch scar on my elbow to show where I made contact with the corner of the roll bar mounting plate.

even better still when you can see it comming, but carry on in the hope that you will get the job done first.

Are you not supposed to make a wish when you pull a wishbone, what did you wish for?

looks nicely swollen! You'll be glad you had a shave cos you'll be growing a bit of stubble now!! Maybe a beard depending on how quickly you heal!!!!!
