Borrowing someones kit for school leaving prom - Exeter area

Any forum members in the Exeter area have a kit that's on the road at the moment for transporting my son to his school leaving prom?

Mines garaged as well as billy's luego that was used before - Prom is Monday Night

G

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

I noticed your post before, but expected a few people to respond, so didn't post myself.

I am at least Five squillion miles away from you, but you are absolutely more than wlecome to come up and get my car if you want too!

It's still on the trailer from it's trackday last weekend...

Chivalry is still alive and well I see then Steve

Fantastic offer as James has mentioned but as you've pointed out yourself the round milage would kill me

Otherwise I would be knocking on your door

Should of mentioned vehicle would obviously get a full bufty before being returned with a fuller tank

Fully clean driving licence
About 17 years NCB
Full 'You bend it you mend it' bank balance

Once again thanks for the offer Steve

WOW - what an offer.

Is a bufty a damn good thrashing or a top notch polish to a shiny shine? Pretty sure you mean a damn good polish and very careful cosseting whilst in your care.

Strange what terms are used in different parts of the country.

'bufty' as in showered with autoglym products

'Rag the arse off of it' being the popular term for thrashing down here in tractor land

'Bufty' is at least used up to Linconshire going by This post

Generous it may be, but Genuine it definately is, so if you get stuck then it's there, just let me know...

And whether Bufty means shine or rag the arse off it, I'm afraid to say that only one of those is acceptable to me

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
