Clamper man revenge

Shamlessly stolen from PH...its so good everyone should see it

quote:

My manager and long-term friend was clamped for parking in our own office space this morning... Unfortunately, the clamper refused to remove it until paid £170. Rather more unfortuantely (for the clamper), said friend has been on the phone and ordered an Angle Grinder to remove it himself... So the local hire company turn up, give him his angle grinder and as he is walking to his car to remove said clamp, the clamper punched him and stole the grinding discs! yikes The clamper starts walking away and gets to the garage door before said friend sucker punches him in the face, knocking him over... Fortunately, plant hire company witnessed it all and the clamper has now been arrested for assault (after 2 police cars turn up), the clamp is off and everyone almost seems happy... What an interesting Friday... hehe

I got clamped a couple of years ago along with a few others that I work with. As there was no sign saying that clamping was active in the area in the morning but there was after we had been clamped we called the police.

Long and the short of it was the clamper got arrested, we all cut off our clamps with the police's concent and them watching us!

I had 2 clamps on my car as I had alloys and they use special clamps that don't damage the wheels. They do however allow you to take the wheels off hence using two. So I took the wheels off let down the tyres and slid the clamps off!

Was the funniest thing having the police watch us hacking at clamps with grinders and helping us whilst the clamper was cuffed up in the back of the police car!

Amazing!

Freelance clamping is illegal in Scotland as it was considered to be theft by depriving you of the use of your property. Only way you can be clamped is for failing to have tax disk!

yet another big plus for Scotland
